Music Ranking Website for Artists Who Want to Get Heard
Music Ranking is a live music ranking website where artists promote their music, compete for visibility and climb a public leaderboard.
Submit your music, build your promotional position and let listeners discover what is moving up the ranking.
There are no secret scores deciding who appears at the top. Music Ranking uses a simple promotional ranking system where higher total promotional bids receive higher positions.
What Is Music Ranking?
Music Ranking is an online music promotion and discovery platform built around a live public leaderboard.
Artists submit their music and compete for visibility on the ranking. Listeners can browse the leaderboard, preview tracks and continue listening on supported music platforms.
Unlike an editorial chart, Music Ranking does not decide which artist or song is better. The ranking reflects promotional position.
Artists compete for attention. Listeners decide what they actually want to hear.
Promote your music. Climb the ranking. Get heard.
How Our Music Ranking System Works
The Music Ranking system is designed to be simple and transparent.
1. Add Your Music
Submit a supported link to your track or release and provide the information needed to create your Music Ranking listing. Music Ranking supports music links from platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Deezer, TIDAL, Audiomack and Boomplay.
2. Place Your Promotional Bid
Once your music is eligible for paid ranking, you can place a promotional bid toward your listing. Your total promotional bid determines your position on the leaderboard.
3. Climb the Music Ranking
Higher total promotional bids rank higher. For example, if one artist has a total promotional bid of £25 and another has £10, the £25 listing receives the higher position. If two artists have the same total bid, the track that reached that amount first keeps the higher position.
4. Increase Your Position
Already ranked but want to move higher? You can increase your existing promotional bid. You pay only the difference between your existing total and your new promotional bid, and your ranking is recalculated using your new total.
5. Get Discovered
Listeners can browse the live ranking, preview tracks and click through to supported music platforms when they want to hear more. Artists can also see useful activity signals such as preview plays, full-track clicks, current ranking and peak ranking.
Live Music Ranking List
Want to know which artists are currently competing for attention?
The Music Ranking list shows the tracks currently ranked on the platform and their position on the leaderboard. Rankings can change as new artists join and existing artists increase their promotional position.
Every listing on the live leaderboard shows:
- Current position
- Track artwork
- Song title
- Artist name
- Genre
- Country
- Promotional bid
- Preview button
- Preview plays
- Full-track clicks
- Peak rank
- Link to the track on supported platforms
A Different Kind of Music Ranking App
Search for a music ranking app and you will find several different types of platforms. Some let fans rank their favourite albums. Some ask users to compare songs. Others create charts using streams, votes, reviews or editorial opinions.
Music Ranking takes a different approach. This is a browser-based music ranking platform designed around artist promotion and music discovery.
Artists compete for promotional visibility through transparent bids, while listeners decide which tracks they actually want to play. You do not need a subjective rating from Music Ranking to move up the leaderboard. Your promotional position determines your rank.
Music Ranking vs Other Music Ranking Sites
Not every music ranking site measures the same thing. Some rankings measure popularity, some use listener votes, some depend on streaming numbers, some are based on editorial reviews, and others help individual listeners create personal lists of their favourite songs.
Music Ranking is different because the leaderboard represents promotional placement.
| Type of music ranking | How ranking is determined |
|---|---|
| Music Ranking | Total promotional bid |
| Editorial music charts | Editorial selection or scoring |
| Streaming charts | Streams or consumption data |
| Fan voting sites | Community votes |
| Personal ranking apps | Individual listener preferences |
This means an artist does not have to wait for an editor to choose them before appearing on Music Ranking. The system is open to eligible artists who want to promote their music and compete for attention.
Built for Independent Artists
Getting people to notice a new release can be difficult. Thousands of tracks are released every day, and independent artists often compete with larger marketing budgets, established audiences and crowded social feeds.
Music Ranking gives artists another place to put their music in front of listeners.
Your listing can show your:
- Artist name
- Song or release title
- Artwork
- Genre
- Country
- Current rank
- Promotional position
- Preview plays
- Full-track clicks
- Peak ranking
- Streaming link
Everything is built around one question: who is climbing the ranking right now?
Built for Music Discovery Too
Music Ranking is not only for artists. Listeners can use the leaderboard to discover music that musicians are actively promoting right now.
Browse the ranking. Preview a track. Find something interesting. Continue listening on the artist's chosen music platform.
There is no requirement to like, follow or stream a particular artist.
Artists can pay for visibility. They cannot pay listeners to like their music.
That distinction matters.
A Transparent Music Promotion Leaderboard
Music promotion can often be difficult to understand. Artists pay for campaigns without always knowing where their money goes, what visibility they receive or what the next step is.
Music Ranking uses a much simpler model. Your promotional bid is visible. Your ranking is visible. The rules determining your position are published.
If another artist moves above you, you decide whether you want to stay where you are or increase your position. There is no manual decision to move one artist above another because we prefer their music.
Higher promotional bids rank higher.
What Your Music Ranking Means
A high position on Music Ranking means an artist has achieved a high promotional position on the platform. It does not mean Music Ranking believes that song is objectively better than another song.
Music Ranking is not:
- An editorial music chart
- A measure of musical quality
- A playlist placement service
- A guarantee of streams
- A guarantee of followers
- A guarantee of reviews or press coverage
- A guarantee of positive listener response
The leaderboard represents promotional activity. What happens after someone discovers your music is up to the listener.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a music ranking website?
A music ranking website is an online platform that organises songs, artists or releases into ranked positions. Different websites use different ranking methods, including streams, votes, ratings, editorial decisions or other factors. Music Ranking uses transparent promotional bids to determine positions on its public leaderboard.
How does the Music Ranking system work?
Artists submit their music and place promotional bids toward their listings. Higher total promotional bids receive higher positions. If an artist wants to move higher later, they can increase their total and pay only the difference.
Is Music Ranking a music ranking app?
Music Ranking is a browser-based music ranking platform available through MusicRanking.app. It combines a live music leaderboard with artist promotion and listener discovery without requiring users to download a native mobile application.
How is Music Ranking different from other music ranking sites?
Many music ranking sites use listener ratings, personal preferences, streams, reviews or editorial decisions. Music Ranking ranks artists according to their total promotional bid. The leaderboard therefore represents promotional placement rather than an editorial judgement of musical quality.
What is a music ranking list?
A music ranking list displays songs or artists in an ordered leaderboard. On Music Ranking, the list shows music currently competing for promotional visibility, with higher promotional bids receiving higher positions.
Can independent artists add their music?
Yes. Independent artists can submit music they own or have permission to promote, subject to Music Ranking's submission rules and approval requirements.
Does paying for a higher rank guarantee more streams?
No. A promotional bid purchases positioning on Music Ranking. It does not guarantee streams, followers, playlist placement, reviews, sales or positive listener response.
Can I increase my music ranking later?
Yes. If your track is already ranked, you can increase your total promotional bid. You pay only the difference between your existing amount and your new total.
Where can listeners hear the music?
Listeners can preview music directly through Music Ranking and use the available links to continue listening on supported music platforms.
